There’s a new pibil coming to town. You’ve tried the original, Cochinita Pibil. Its successor, Pollonita (aka Pollo Pibil) proved a hit. Now it’s the turn of Jackfruit Pibil. A new special created for National Vegetarian Week.

Pibil is a traditional Mexican marinade from the Yucatan State of Mexico. Citrus in flavour, its not spicy, but it goes perfectly with habanero. All good pibil dishes are accompanied by a red onion & habanero pickle, which adds a nice level of spice. Why not add our new chipotle vegan creamy mayo to really give your taste buds a treat!

Jackfruit Pibil lands in all Mission Burrito restaurants on Monday 15th May and runs for the week (until 21st May) as a National Vegetarian Week special. It’s available for eat-in, collection and Deliveroo.
